This is definitely the way to pull off orange.


Actress Sienna Miller has used the Madras to brighten up a casual, denim look. And Jessica Alba displays her fashion savvy with the Prada must-have – the LA-based actress loves her designer bags. The Madras by Prada Actress Uma Thurman went for a bright, boxy version of the orange bag. Fab!

The classic ‘Sofia Coppola’ bag designed by the film director for Louis Vuitton has become an instant classic. Something as sleek as this brand name handbags belong on your arm for everyday adventure.

The film director designed the bag after a trip to Louis Vuitton’s historic workshop in Asnières filled her with creative inspiration. Actress Kirsten Dunst (incidentally one of Coppola’s closest collaborators) effortlessly integrated the bag into her wardrobe. Designer bag-lady Sienna Miller has often been pictured with the versatile handbag.

Christina, Cheryl, Florence and now Blake; red hair has become what’s in fashion for Spring/ Summer 2011. We take a look at who’s sporting the daring color. Who is setting the pace for the fashion 2011 trend and how to get the beauty shop supplies you need to be in fashion for 2011.

Actress and Chanel ambassador Blake Lively is the latest to hit the bottle. Formerly favouring beach-blonde locks, the Gossip Girl star unveiled her strawberry-tones tresses at the Time 100 Gala ceremony in New York.

Simply red: Julianne Moore is a classic pin-up for red hair done right; rarely deviating from her natural shade, she knows what colors complement her red coiffure.

You can almost see your face in the shiny copper curls of songstress Florence Welch. This fiery redhead belts as out her fierce tunes for her fans around the world.

Working sexy, mussed up glamour, Mark Ronson’s fiancé Josephine de la Baume is reminiscent of the ultimate cartoon babe, scarlet woman Jessica Rabbit. Congrats goes out to Mark and Josephine on their wedding nuptials.

Fashion News: Gisele Tops List of World’s Highest Paid Fashion Models

Congratulations go out to Gisele Bundchen for topping the list of highest paid fashion models. She has successfully transformed herself from supermodel to business mogul, stepping off the runway and into the role of pop icon. Apparently being the wife of NFL superstar, Tom Brady and a first time mom is agreeing with Bundchen. In fact, this mega-beauty hasn’t lost a step career wise. Bundchen is still very much a money-making force within the fashion industry and a brand name herself. A short list of Gisele endorsements has included Christian Dior, Victoria Secret, Louis Vuitton. She has also appeared in advertisements for Nivea and her most recent campaign is with H&M for their Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Check it out below.

“Gisele Bundchen is clearly in a class by herself, She’s has international iconic power behind her beautiful statuesque frame. When Bundchen associates herself with a product it has been proven time and time again that sales go up. Heidi Klum came in at a distant No. 2 to Gisele with estimated earnings of $20 million. Alessandra Ambrosio lags even further behind the front runner only pulling in $5 million in the past year after becoming the new face of Colcci clothing (Gisele’s sloppy seconds, but still hot) together with Ashton Kutchner. A new name to watch is Lara Stone who brought in $4.4 million after striking deals with popular fashion houses like Versace, Prada and an exclusive contract with Calvin Klein. And that’s the biggest name in the fashion republic today.

While elite models like Gisele are prospering, newcomers aren’t scoring the same paydays as before the recession, with companies continuing to keep spending reined in. There have been substantial adjustments in rates — maybe not for Gisele, but for the daily working models– and most people.

Fashion News: Victoria Beckham’s Posh Baby Shower Details

She’s having a baby.

It’s almost that time again for Victoria Beckham. One of the most fashionable women in the world is finally having a girl! Eva Longoria and Ken Paves hosted Victoria Beckham’s all things pink baby shower this weekend. The entertainer turned designer celebrated the imminent arrival of her little girl in true Hollywood star-studded fashion.

Guests included Nicole Richie, Demi Moore and celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe (who just so happens to be expecting a little one of her own soon) amongst a small intimate group of friends. The A-listers gathered in Beverly Hills, Calif. at Petit L’Ermitage Hotel. In accordance with the pink theme, Beckham’s celebration featured masterful centerpieces of pink Hydrangeas, pink Gerber Daisies and pink chairs circled the rooftop pool.

Victoria wore a purple v-neck dress to the plush soiree. Posh and guests sipped ice teas as well wishers celebrated the mother of honor and showered her with gifts. Already the mom to three boys with husband David, the pregnant star was gifted pink items for her little girl. Gifts included a Quinny Buzz stroller, a baby bathrobe, bassinet, Balboa Baby nursing pillow, a stuffed giraffe, books and clothes.

The birth of Victoria’s little girl has been a long time coming. There is nothing like the bond a mother shares with her daughter. Perhaps Posh will feel complete after she has her little girl. Only time will tell. The arrival of Victoria’s daughter will definitely add some much needed girl power to the growing household.

Perhaps Beckham will finally be inspired to make kids couture clothing. Her little girl has to wear something. For now, congrats to the Beckham family on the wonderful new addition, we’re foreseeing a great adventure for them all.

Now for the biggest question of all, what will they name baby girl Beckham? There’s nothing wrong with being creative with baby names, but let’s hope for some sanity from the Beckhams. No countries, no foods and no cities. Will the world know what to do with a Beverly Hills Beckham? No offense Brooklyn. Whatever they decide, it’ll undoubtedly be as fabulous as the Beckhams are.

Fashion Magazines will have New Angels to Write About

2011 marks the return of Charlie’s Angels to ABC. As far as introductions go, the new look of the re-imagined Charlie’s Angels cast is must have been a tough thing to do, but get it right the veteran network just may have. Starring Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood), Annie Ilonzeh (Percy Jackson & the Olympians: the Lightning Thief) and Rachael Taylor (Transformers, Grey’s Anatomy). Character details remain mostly under wraps, but one of the girls may be a con artist and Mika Kelly plays an ex-Marine with weapons training. And the third ‘Angel’ is an athletic ex-cop. The series is all but locked into a spot on the ABC fall schedule.

ABC network issued a new image of the crime-fighting beauties in an effort to create some early buzz around the premiere of the new show and cast.

Talk about fresh faces! As first impressions go, it should be safe to say that this one qualifies as fashionable. Past Charlie’s Angels always brings out the trend and is always the talk about of Fashion Magazines and the fashion world. Charlie’s Angels 3.0 will be unlike the light-hearted, physics-defying films starring Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu and this won’t be the vintage Charlie’s Angels. ABC promises the new show will be a “fairly serious, non-campy” version of the characters.

Luckily, the series does have some real talent behind it. Smallville creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar are executive producing and giving the pilot’s script some bling. How well it will be received from them on is still very much up in the air.

Reports suggest that in this rendition of Charlie’s Angels action packed world we find ourselves suddenly in, the new girls are actually going to be reformed criminals who are offered the opportunity to make amends for their past crimes (instead of portraying police cadets like the first Angels). I would say that this is a borderline La Femme Nikita plot, but they might be able to pull it off. Like the late 1970s program, however, each episode will be a self-contained story — with a clear resolution at the end of each installment. Though certain plot elements will carry over from one week to the next. But ratings talk and everything else walks. The show may or may not gain the following it needs to keep its ABC spot. Only time will tell.

Expect to see Charlie’s Angels debut sometime this fall on ABC. And expect some style and fashion tips for them too.
